MAHUBE-OTWA Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a Head Start Family Childcare Contractor for a new childcare partnership site Perham, MN or New York Mills, MN. The location is furnished with a fenced in outdoor play area.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: Previous experience in family childcare or other early childhood setting.

Must have or be willing to obtain a current family childcare license and a Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or equivalent coursework/credential.

Preferred: Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education with 1-3 years early childhood experience and a current family child care license.

BASIC FUNCTION: Family childcare contractors agree to provide Head Start services within their childcare setting in a partnership with MAHUBE-OTWA Head Start. The contractor will enroll and care for a minimum of 6 Head Start eligible children ages birth (6 weeks) to five (5) years of age. Contractors receive financial compensation for fulfilling contract terms, and have access to supplies, equipment, professional development, an accelerated 4 Star Parent Aware rating, and ongoing technical assistance from program staff.
