Van Driver
The purpose of this position is to provide Otter Tail County veterans with transportation for their medical health care. Appointments are primarily in Fargo, ND but could include other Veterans Affairs Medical Centers.
Examples of Duties:
- Operates passenger van safely and efficiently.
- Monitors traffic and weather condition.
- Reports accidents and/or operating issues with the van to Transportation Coordinator.
- Adheres to data privacy rules.
- Knowledge of Otter Tail County roads and locations.
- Professional and respectful demeanor.
- Van Drivers average 4 trips a month.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Driver's License valid in the State of Minnesota.
Supplemental Information:
This is a part-time, intermittent/casual position. Drivers are paid a per diem rate of $40.00.
The selection process will include an online employment application and interview. Prior to hire, finalist will be required to pass a background investigation and reference check. A standard twelve-month probationary period applies.
