POSITION SUMMARY:

The Electrician Apprentice’s responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the journeyman/master electrician, which may include reading blueprints, diagnosing electrical problems, and repairing electrical systems.  You will also help to install new electrical systems for our clients.  This will involve laying wires, installing fixtures, assembling various components throughout the system, and calibrating electrical systems and equipment.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:

• Assist journeyman/master electrician(s) by completing all assigned duties and following instructions
• Assisting with repairs of various electrical components and systems
• Use a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties
• Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members to complete projects
• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed
• Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist the journeyman/master electrician
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
• Prepare and clean work areas
• Carry and deliver materials
• Follow safety codes and building regulations
• Installs of home security, camera’s, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
